Pact envisions an interconnected world in which relationships of trust and mutual benefit among the state, the marketplace and communities provide the inspiration and foundation for taking actions to end poverty, ensure justice and achieve greater equity.

Pact Tanzania strives to build a strong, democratic society that protects the rights of and provides opportunities to vulnerable children, women, and marginalized groups.

We do this by building the capacity of civil society organizations, public institutions, and communities while promoting adherence to good governance and the sustainable use and management of resources.

Pact has been working in Tanzania since early 2002 and has its central office in Dar es Salaam.
